The research conducted in 2018 in Tokyo involved semi-structured individual interviews towards five female veterinary nurses. We collected data on: i )experiences related to life, death and euthanasia in their workplaces so far, ii) emotional labors at their work related to terminal care including end-of-life care, iii) their views toward death and life, and iv) the kinds of work they were willing to be engaged in after their graduation from either college or university.\nThe data were analyzed using the K-J Method(Kawakita, 1970).
